Leaf & Petal at the Gardens

Just had a question pertaining to a gift card I had purchased and the staff that answered the phone was very unfriendly. Did not help me resolve my issue nor gave me any options. I do not recommend calling to handle an issue, might need to just drive there to speak with someone.

My five star review is for the appearance of the gift shop. The arrangement of every item was intentional and creative. I loved the ambiance. You will have to ask for assistance. No one asked me did I need any help. However, they were busy that day.

I chose to shop at this beautiful store for a couple of plants for my granddaughter and I. It was storming so we stayed in the store a little longer than expected along with other customers. One of the workers seemed to be a very kind lady (tall lady with white or blonde hair) was talking to me and a few other customers, not long after me thinking she was nice, she noticed some of what she said was " her rocks" was mixed together in a little turtle display. She was upset and stated that "she wish she knew what child did that and that she would have them work for child slave labor." My 7yr old granddaughter whispered to me that she had saw some little kids do it and I said ok. Yes I am a African American woman with an African American granddaughter and I didn't say anything and it kind of bothered me not because of race, but more so because I'm a mother, a grandmother and I love children and to think that it's ok for a child of any race to work slave labor is heartbreaking. That's part of the reason for child trafficking now. As a future Business owner in Retail, I know that children will come in my store and sometimes they get a little busy touching things. Yes I want the Guardian

Great gift shop - jewelry, inside and outside decor, religious gifts, accessories, men’s gifts, garden, nature, holiday themed, etc. Fill your entire Christmas list and all birthday requests here. And look for the Alabama artists and authors.
